THE PROVENANCE SYSTEM BY DUOCO
Why I don't use LUTs on luxury listings
The complete DaVinci Resolve grading system behind Duoco's luxury real estate and vehicle work.ย One node tree, the recipes that drive them, and the training to make them yours. Every grade in it has shipped to a paying client.

Three jobs from this year. Slide across.
This grade has a history
This grade has been on real listings all year. Houses that went to market with our name on the film, for agents who expected the best.
That is the whole point of it. A grade only has to look good once in an example. On a listing it has to hold through a warm lamp beside a cold window, a twilight that shifts every couple of minutes, and a bench top that the vendor knows the colour of. This one does. That is why it is the one we put our name to.
What you are actually buying
One PowerGrade node tree for DaVinci Resolve Studio. Clean, labelled and grouped, so you can read the structure at a glance and change any part of it without breaking the rest.
The training. Twenty to thirty minutes of video. Installing it, a walk through every node, then adapting it to footage that is not ours. Other cameras, flat light, mixed sources.
The Provenance guide. A short PDF on installing the tree correctly and where everything lives.
The Sony setup guide. The exact picture profile, S-Log3 settings, white balance and exposure we shoot with on every listing, so what comes off the card is what the tree was built for.
Free updates for life. When the grade gets refined on our own jobs, the new version goes to every buyer at no charge.
A LUT is one answer. This is a method.
A LUT is a fixed transform. It applies the same maths to every pixel of every shot and it cannot know whether the shot is a north-facing living room at 2pm or a driveway at dusk. That is why LUT-graded real estate looks the way it does: skin the wrong colour, whites drifting warm, every property wearing the same jumper.
The Provenance System is built on three stages. Transform the log footage into a proper working space. Balance each shot so whites are white and the room reads as the room. Then, and only then, apply the look. The look stage is the smallest part of the tree because the first two stages have already done the work.
Once you understand that spine, you stop needing someone else's grade. You have a way of thinking about colour that holds on any footage, from any camera, in any light. The node trees are the fastest way to learn it, because you can open them and see the reasoning.
This is for you if
You shoot real estate, architecture or vehicles and deliver in DaVinci Resolve. You are tired of grades that fall apart the moment the light changes. You want to charge more, and you already suspect the grade is one of the things holding the price down.
This is not for you if
You edit in Premiere or Final Cut and have no plan to move. You want a one-click result and no interest in how it works. You are looking for a LUT.
A$55
That is the price. It does not go on sale, it has not been discounted for launch, and it will not be discounted at the end of the year. The number reflects what the system is: the working grading pipeline of a luxury production studio, not a folder of presets.
If you go on to The Duoco Method, the full A$55 is credited against the course. The system is the first piece of the same method, so you are not paying twice for the same thinking.
After the click
1. Checkout takes about a minute. Card or Apple Pay, invoice emailed.
2. Access is immediate. The node tree, project files, guide and training are in your Duoco library the moment payment clears.
3. Your A$55 course credit is recorded automatically. Nothing to claim, nothing to remember.
I do not shoot Sony. Will it work?
Do I need the paid version of Resolve?
My footage looks nothing like yours. Flat light, small apartments, phone-quality listings.
How is this different from a LUT pack?
What do updates look like?
What is the licence?
What if it does not work for me?
Can I buy the variants separately?
The free node tree shows you the structure. This is everything we built on top of it, on real houses, for real clients.
